  • Business Information: For dealership customers, we collect details such as dealership license number, inventory data, vehicle identification numbers (VINs), and integration data from dealership management systems.

  • Communications: Information from emails, support tickets, or inquiries, including your preferences for communications.

2. Usage and Technical Information

  • Device and Log Data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, pages viewed, time and date of access, and referral sources.

  • Cookies and Tracking Technologies: We use cookies, web beacons, and similar tools to track usage, preferences, and analytics (see “Cookies” section below).

  • Location Data: For Services users, precise GPS location data from TagTracker™ devices, including vehicle coordinates, routes, speeds, and timestamps. This may include inferred personal data about drivers (e.g., home/work locations).

3. Data from Third Parties

  • Information from payment processors, analytics providers, or business partners (e.g., integrated dealership software).

  • Aggregated telemetry data from vehicles, which may include non-personal identifiers linked to personal data.

4. Sensitive Information
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (e.g., health data, racial/ethnic origin) unless necessary for Services (e.g., inferred from location patterns) and only with explicit consent or as required by law. Vehicle tracking data may inadvertently reveal sensitive patterns, and we urge customers to obtain consents.


How We Use Your Information

We use collected information for the following purposes:

  • Providing Services: To install, activate, and manage TagTracker™ devices; generate reports, alerts, and analytics; and integrate with your systems.

  • Communication: To send updates, invoices, support responses, marketing materials (with opt-out options), and legal notices.

  • Improvement and Analytics: To analyze usage trends, develop features, and benchmark aggregated data (anonymized where possible).

  • Security and Compliance: To detect fraud, unauthorized access, and ensure compliance with laws; to respond to legal requests.

  • Business Operations: For billing, customer support, and internal record-keeping.

  • Marketing: To promote our Services to business customers, subject to applicable laws (e.g., CAN-SPAM Act).

  • Aggregated/Anonymized Data: For research, marketing, or industry reports, without identifying individuals.

International transfers (if any) use Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions to ensure equivalent protection.


Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary:

  • Account data: While active, plus 1 year post-termination for backups.

  • Service data (e.g., location logs): As specified in agreements, or longer for legal holds.

  • Marketing data: Until opt-out or 3 years of inactivity.

We securely delete or anonymize data when no longer needed.


Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights under laws like CCPA, CPRA, or VCDPA (Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act):

  • Correction: Update inaccurate information.

Children’s Privacy
